Nicholas Smith

Nick Smith is an artist and designer who works primarily in traditional media such as oil and acrylic paint. Through his painting practice, Eyemark Designs, he focuses on developing the potential of semi-abstract painting to convey meaning while still serving a decorative function in modern interiors.

Developing his earlier training and work experience as well as a persistent interest in the built environment, Nick is currently pursuing architecture licensure with a special focus on sustainable design. To this end, he is working on a blog called Green Synergies which seeks to educate the public about sustainable design strategies and rating systems.

Nick is eager to apply his skills and passion to the work of a dynamic design team and to contribute to meaningful projects. He is especially committed to understanding in detail how to design sustainable buildings which make a positive contribution to the natural and human environment.
